For anyone who hasn’t tried HP premium matte photo paper, it comes highly recommended. If you’ve done any amount of printing you have probably already realized that the paper you choose definitely matters when it comes to the print quality. HP has done a consistent job of producing matte photo paper that helps you to create great prints.

Let us know what your experience has been with HP premium or HP premium plus photo paper because we would like to make sure that we’re doing the best comparison of the different matte papers out on the market. One of the best things about having a website about any sort of paper product is that as the feedback increases so does everyone’s knowledge when it comes to picking the right paper for your printing needs.

According to HP in their summary of their paper bundle the premium matte photo paper is designed to allow you to print out your digital pictures and give them the look and feel of a traditional photograph. Personally, I think that the satin sort of soft gloss finish is perfect for most pictures. As long as you have a decent inkjet printer and you allow the ink to dry well on the matte paper, the results have been pretty great.

I am definitely open to hearing about any other companies other than HP that you feel has a high quality paper or ink jet printers. Ultimately, the truth is that there are probably several different brands of quality paper, so one of the most important features is making sure that you can buy photo paper at a discount, and getting a good value on paper isn’t that hard to do these things, especially when you buy matte photo paper in bulk.

It really depends on what kind of printing shop you are running. If you are working from your house and only do a couple printings for yourself and friends and family, then it may not make sense to buy several boxes of matte photo paper. But, if you run a small business that counts on a steady supply of inkjet paper, then it makes complete sense to shop around and make sure that you get a great deal by buying and well.

Thanks for stopping in his usual and of course please make sure to leave a comment with your experience with HP premium matte photo paper.

HP Matte Photo Paper

I was comparing some HP matte photo paper styles the other day and trying to decide which product I needed to buy. There is both an HP premium matte and an HP premium plus, and I just wanted to see if anyone was familiar with the difference between the plus and the no plus.

My guess is that it has to do with the overall thickness of the paper. I notice that they tend to sell it in a much smaller packet of only 20 sheets which I don’t exactly understand. It seems like if you were a serious printer that you would want to be able to buy in large bulk, but I’m not the expert.

I did find some reviews on the HP premium plus which sounded pretty good. From what everyone is saying the quality of the matte photo paper is much higher, and that the results when printing out pictures are much better in terms of looking like a realistic photo as opposed to something that has just been printed out on your computer. In fact, there several comments that people have said it’s the best paper they had ever used.

Of course I always wonder in these reviews if a person really use the stuff or if it’s just the company advertising for itself by putting out good reviews. It’s always tough to say, but the fact that there are so many good reviews for the HP matte photo paper premium brands and very little in terms of the negative reviews makes me think that it has to be a pretty solid product.

I’d love to hear if anyone here has tried to HP premium plus photo paper or simply the HP premium matte paper and what the results were. Don’t be shy to share them with the rest of us, so we can all benefit from your experience and make a better choice when we choose to buy photo paper. As a small desktop publisher that mainly prints photos from myself, friends, and family, it’s a fun hobby to make sure that I’m able to print really high quality digital photos from my simple home printer.

Thanks for taking the time to read about this HP matte photo paper discussion and is always I welcome your input.

Double Sided Matte Photo Paper

If you have never tried printing on double sided matte photo paper, you should definitely give it a try. I had been thinking about trying to print off a calendar for the family this year, so I’ve been playing around with different styles of double sided paper to see how the prints turned out.

And let me just say it looked pretty good. Again you haven’t heard me say it before photo printing is just a hobby of mine and I am by no means a professional printer. I think fun to have a little desktop publishing project and find a way to take my simple family photos and turn them in to something pretty cool, so I like to play around with different styles of photo paper with a real focus on finding quality matte photo paper to work with.

So this calendar project has been a lot of fun for me and it’s helped me understand how two sided photo paper can be very helpful both for a family project as well as for small businesses that are looking to create sales brochures or greeting cards or some sort of newsletter that requires quality photo printing.

Has anyone here tried to use double sided paper for any projects? If so, let us know your tips and tricks for making sure that both sides of the printing match up and look great. For me the biggest issue was making sure that I set up the print so that everything was facing in the correct direction on the pictures and the calendar. This meant that the pictures needed to be upside down to each other on each side. That way when you look at one picture and you flip up that page to look at the next month everything is still in its proper order

It was a lot of fun to take our old kids pictures and turn them in to something pseudo professional looking, and it made me think of another fun photo printing project where I plan on taking pictures of my grandparents in their youth and digitizing them for some touch up before creating a new calendar with those pictures. I think the rest of the family will find it a nice surprise.

Thanks for stopping in is always and make sure to leave a comment about your experience with double sided matte photo paper.
