Has anyone here tried doing prints off of canvas photo paper? The reason I ask is because I saw some the other day at the shop and it looked really interesting and I was thinking about giving it a try. I love that there are different styles of photo paper available for us to experiment and take our pictures to the next level.
From my little bit of experience with canvas photo paper, it looks like a great way to take any of your photos and make them look like classic oil paintings. I wonder what other things can be printed out on this canvas paper and still look really great? It would be great to hear any of your printing ideas so that we can share how we get the best photos.
I guess I should make clear here what I’m talking about canvas photo paper I’m not talking about actual canvas. What I need is the faux canvas look on a regular piece of printable paper. So there’s nothing really drastically different about this except for the design that’s premade on it that simply makes it look older when a picture is been printed on it. I know some people do printings on a large canvas banners and that’s not what I was thinking of. Although it’s really cool, I just can’t afford to have a picture or design done on real canvas. It does seem like something that would be really cool for an art project though.
Also let me know if you have any canvas printing tips, or if you know what inexpensive way to print on real canvas then don’t hesitate to let me know that either. Anyways this is just then a quick little talk about canvas photo paper with the recommendation that you give it a try sometime.
